Exactly well said. I plan on expanding my collection. Honestly I don't see much difference between the brands. Tudor is very high quality.

Those look great Eddie. I must admit I normally prefer a bracelet on a dive watch, but in this case, that worn leather strap looks absolutely perfect.

They could rise further with the following improvements/enhancements:
1. Fix the ubiquitous clasp problem across their entire product line (they all suffer from a non-articulating link at 6 o'clock)
2. Add a mini-glide lock or other tool-less microadjust to all bracelets
3. Reduce case thickness and generally reduce case size for many models
4. Start innovating something outside of the "Black Bay" design ethos
Co-signing #1-3. Emphatically.

I would also add that it would be awesome to replace the aluminum bezel on the BB58 with a matte-finished ceramic bezel (like the Pelagos), but that’s a pipe dream which would probably add another grand to the price.

I'm content to watch Tudor just produce variations of the Black Bay and Pelagos forever, however, I'd love it if they could slim down some of the chunkier models just a bit. I'm really looking forward to a BB58 GMT and adjustable clasps on the Black Bays, which to me seem like the obvious moves.

Was in same boat. Sold my 116610. BB58 just better all around for my tastes.

I like everything about my BB58 blue. It’s my favorite Tudor other than my previous Big Block.

Are the BB 58 blue still in high demand?? I walked into an AD looking for an Omega AT and saw 1 sitting there.

Have GMT, Panda, 58 and Heritage Chrono Blue. Would like to see a better branding strategy. Do not think sponsoring a surfing league and other peripheral events/ambassadors raise the profile of the brand. Also would like to see some dial colors for the Tudor Style and perhaps drop the fluted bezel look of the Royal. If they do a 58 version of the GMT, then drop the other. Lastly, too many variations on their website. Set a metric and whatever is below that line drop it. It drags the brand and nobody is buying it anyway. I

I have a BBN ETA, vintage Tudor Sub, and my wife has a Heritage Ranger. Really like them. Been thinking about a Pelagos and GMT for a while now. Great watches. Personally I like the old rose logo more, but either way great watches and glad we have them in our collections.

Great watches at an exceptional value.

However, if we're talking product placement, then I would follow the same path Rolex took with the introduction of the six digit line - specifically, making the bracelet/clasp more adjustable. For example, an outside vendor is manufacturing 1/2 links for both the BB/BB58. I mean, really? Tudor, this is something you should be doing. And...on the subject, give us an adjustable clasp similar to the mini glide lock, easy link, or even the Pelagos. Do that, and, well, the whole BB line becomes a lot more competitive with big brother.

Just my two cents.

Even just a year ago a thread like this would have a fair number of ‘A Tudor is not a Rolex’.

Not one this time. What could have changed.

Love my BB Panda Chrono. I put it on a black rubber strap and it hugs my small wrist better too.

I am enjoying a black face BB Bronze and a BB Silver 925 that were added to my collection in the last 18 months or so. I like the unique materials, minimalist design and technical capabilities that Tudor brings to the market. Excellent value compared to their big brother.

Great watches, I’ve had several, currently have the BB Red Rose. As others have said, I’m more interested in Tudor’s 2022 releases than Rolex’s.

no character of their own, just follow the design philosophy of rolex and build in lesser quality.

Completely disagree with this comment. They absolutely have their own identity, character and pedigree.

Just no need for the standard Submariner when you have these 2.

Yeah well, we can only aspire to be as shallow. But if we really save maybe someday we can afford to look down our noses and feel the warm glow of superficial superiority.

I really like them, especially the older ones. I've been looking for a nice 7996 for a while and nearly got scammed buying a Franken 75204 but for me, Tudor is just as desireable as Rolex.
