All Rolex's are overpriced in the grey market. Spend what you want if you truly want the piece I wouldn't wait because it will be considerably more next month.

I remember when my watch guy was fed up with these. They were THE buyer's remorse wrist watch. You young instagram whippersnappers must really like them.

The Hulk is a fantastic watch and they don't make them anymore. If you like it buy it.
Don't listen to some of the rude comments.

Agree, its a great watch. Very unique. Love the way the dial has different hues. Wear it in good health

Funny, my Instagram doesn't have a single picture of my Hulk or any of my watches. So there's that..

The guy posted first question, why cant people on this forum give fair opinion and not being sarcastic? Pros and cons are fine but no offense.

A steal or not you decide.
You love hulk or not your choice.
Your money, spend on what or how you want to.

I saw it first, then checked the price. Was sad to see it so high but the green dial is That being said I have not seen one in person yet, just pictures. It might be the same as the pepsi, good in photos but in person, the colors looks so dull.

I'll leave this choice for my future self lol

I bought mine grey for £8450 in March 2018 and it took a lot of effort back then to justify paying that much over retail. I suppose it's all relative.

My brain told me I was being a bloody fool but my heart wouldn't listen. Loved the watch then, love it now, don't regret paying over MSRP but what they are being advertised for now is just silly. If I was still very keen on having one in my collection I'd be holding back. The price is way too high for a mass produced SS Sub Date and it's got to come down at some point, however far (or possibly near) in the future.

How old do you have to be in Switzerland before you can spend spend 30k on a watch?

I know a few Swiss people and they told me that actual Swiss ppl think luxury watches are an absurd ripoff and they tend to get more entry level models and marvel over them more. Not sure if this is actually true. But they seemed to think overall that luxury watches are tacky.

That said, I disagree but to each his own!

I agree with your disagreement, but as you say, each to their own.

I thought post #75 looked a bit odd, maybe judgemental. But perhaps I'm not reading it in its correct context. Maybe in Switzerland you can't buy a luxury watch until a certain age somewhere north of 22 years? Individual countries can have seemingly strange laws to foreigners.

The Hulk came on my radar around 2017, I was just not in a position to buy it financially. Now that I am, I had to pay more than double MSRP. But still no regrets. Even if the price comes down, I never had the intention to sell so it honestly wouldn't bother me.

Is the Black Sub worth $18,000, is the Daytona worth 50,000, is the Pepsi worth over 30,000. Is Rolex even worth over retail.

Go with your heart, if you really like the Hulk go for it leeteeik. It's a discontinued model that may not come back for more than 16 years if ever. For sure it will not come back in a maxi case with the same beautiful green dial, It may come again in green dial and bezel , but not the exact one for sure. If and only if Rolex brings the green dial Sub back it will be full gold in my opinion, and Hulk prices will rocket.

Ouch! Although you did it for the right reasons.

It's was nice to be paid for wearing a watch I love, but I didn't care about the value, it was all about the watch. It's not so nice now. I almost feel guilty at times, there are more situations where I won't wear it or will keep it hidden under sleeves, and my peripheral vision and radar are seldom on standby, but I'll never let it go.

This. I now don't wear it much, instead wear my Tudor. Mainly because getting comments off my mates 12 year old about my 'sick' watch has put me off a bit.
