50th Jumbo announced early Jan. I received a verbal confirmation of allocation late Feb. Watch didn’t come in till May. Roughly 2 months wait for boutique to “verify” me.

Verification process was interesting, to say the least. At one point, I was asked to list out my current collection. Then finally, write a paragraph about my profession.

I had expressed interest in a ROO at the boutique in Tokyo. One day I received an email asking me to write something about me, what I did etc. I thought it was weird but hey, what did I have to lose. I was hones; the military stationed me in Okinawa and I was looking for an AP - that’s the abridged version.
Within a few weeks I received an email saying the ROO I requested was available.
People can balk at the games or the hoops they may make you jump through, ultimately only you can decide whether the effort is worth it.

Next they'll ask you to take standardized tests and list all your extracurriculars

Ít probly took you a whole 2 min to write a self paragraph and landed an ROO of your request. I’d say, It’s worth it every single time, for every single brand, on every single watch, if requested.

I find it hilarious to see dudes heartbroken over ignored SAs, but are the quickest to make snarky comments to a basic profile filing request.

For the tens of thousands of dollars in market value they are handing you with that allocation I’d write a novel if they asked.
