Have it on the rubber strap and also purchased the 5 link bracelet so that I have that option.

I personally think the monochromatic design (even the bezel insert is more of a matte black), a clean and uncluttered dial along with the domed AR coated crystal and t-fit clasp make this one a total winner. The case thickness and overall profile is perfect.

The sub appears slightly larger due to the ceramic bezel. The 120 clicks is nicer than the 60 of the Tudor. Tudor case is thicker but not too thick. The bracelet especially the clasp of the sub is far superior. Not close. To me the T fit clasp adjustment is over rated. It seems cheap.

The LV sub runs -1.5 per day. The metas Tudor runs +3. I would rather plus 3 than minus 1.5, but that’s me. For some reason Rolex’s seem to run in the minus, for me.

Over all the Tudor is more comfortable. Probably because of the smaller clasp. GS gets a bad rap because of their “cheap” clasps. But I prefer wearing a GS as they are more comfortable than a Rolex sports watch.

As far as your 14060. I think you would find the oyster bracelet on the Tudor at least as good but probably better. I would. And I think you would find this Tudor a better watch. I have handled the 14060 but am going by memory. I don’t have one in front of me. I just recall the bracelet and clasp system as being below par as compared to newer subs.

The lume is much better on the Tudor.

Too me the Tudor looks much better on the oyster than the rubber or jubilee. They don’t look right to me on the other two. But looks are subjective.
Thanks for that. Funny you mention GS, they’re on my radar too, I think a GS and Tudor monochrome would make a pretty good two watch collection.

It has to be said, in comparing the Tudor to a sub not having the dodgy 32xx movement is a plus.

FWIW, Everest does not make a rubber strap for this Tudor currently.

I really like it! I like that there are no guards around the crown. Very classic. These Tudor watches are very tempting!

I have the watch in burgundy on jubilee. It’s a lovely piece. Monochrome is great also!

I love it.

Probably have one if I didn't have so many other watches.

I don’t get why it’s so thick either. They made the bb54 crazy thin so you would think it’s doable…

I genuinely don't get this comment.

I have it on my wrist now. It isn't thick at all. It seems pretty thin to me...and perfectly proportioned.

Thoughts on the new Tudor BB monochrome

Should be on the rubber. Jubilee is out of place here, oyster is too trivial, but rubber is the match made in heaven.
