I really like the shantung dial, I wish they used it for other references.

And so it begins. Don’t give ANYONE business who didn’t care for you while they were consumed in greed and corporate targets, and now they NEED you.

We (consumer) has the power, never forget that.

Market definitely has changed. Was offered several PPs few weeks ago at an AD which i had zero pp purchase history. Was also offered several Rolex which i had no interest. Must have been rejected by all their regular clients and scrapping the bottom of the barrel with me.

Just received the 5712 1R-001 from my AD after about a year’s wait. And it was well worth the wait.

The Blue Shantung dial is really spectacular, its even better in person. It has a ton of depth and the white gold numerals really pop with it.

I'd love for this to happen to me from my local ad so I could politely tell them not interested. After multiple broken promises and then the cherry on top offering me a watch I had just bought from him 2 months prior solidifying the fact that I was just a number to him I gave all my business to a couple out of state ADs who have treated me infinitely better and never even met me.

Approached several ADs in europe for 5212 and 5226 for one of my friends . They all refused and said its a wait time of 2-4 years.

let alone the aquas and Nauti.

This was in Denmark, Sweden, Netherlands.

I'll believe it when I go back to seeing Aquanauts on display for sale, won't be greedy and even ask for Nauts. Can't believe I could walk in my AD and see 5164a on display and for sale back in 2018...
