Beautiful timepiece. I think this is a great watch and represented a very good value when it was first introduced. If I remember correctly it came standard with a deployant and was priced before the stratospheric price increases.

I bought a 5000R salmon face as my first PP in 1996, and I paid the equivalent of GBP5000 for it from an AD. Beautiful watch and still regret selling it a few years later even though it is tiny by today's standard. What's the entry price for PP now - 3-4x what I paid in 1996, shocking!

I am not going to bother taking it out of the bank security box until it is past that date now, since setting it to any date sooner would mean having to push it through nearly four years worth of months.
