Wow that is amazing. I have one coming any week now supposedly. As tempting as it is to sell it and put it towards another model like the gold, it really is a perfect all-arounder that's just meant for wearing! Maybe if they had a white gold 3-hander...

Given the meteoric increase in popularity and gray market prices - does anyone expect official price increases on the VC Overseas series soon?

I don't think so because they just released an increase at the end of 2020. But wouldn't be surprised if they did it again end of this year.

I was supposed to get a 4500v blue when the local VC boutique opened in June (delayed since Feb of this year), but things went south and the opening has been scrapped entirely. Sadly, it was an issue between VC and the local AD, which means I'm back at none :-(

Love my blue 3 hand but disappointed it does not have hacking seconds.

It trades for $20,000 over MSRP so way way more hot.

What does that mean that the watch do not hack?

The seconds never stop... which for setting time during travel or daylight saving time is actually really great.

Seconds hand stops (pulling the crown to position 1) when setting the time

They've not been taking deposits on the SS for a few months now. This month they stopped taking deposits for the Rose Gold 4500v.

VC must try to make OS 4500V as a rare item.

I respect the brand a lot and hope they can get more recognition. However I don’t think this is because more people are appreciating the brand. The proof is that none of the other watches hold value. I believe they are busy mostly with the overseas hype. That’s just my humble opinion.

It’s too early to make that assessment. For a while, only certain SS Rolex sports models were hot. Then all SS Sports models got hot. Then all SS models got hot, including DJs. Now it’s hard to find TT watches!

I think the overseas explosion will boost the 56 lineup too. Maybe not the base 3 hander as it’s not a Geneva seal watch.

Doesn't sound much different from Patek with the majority of its dress watches and AP with everything outside the Royal Oak...

Completely agree. All brands riding the steel sports watch trend with casual wear propelling that trend the last 5 years. Look at Lululemon and street wear like Supreme. Will be a while for dress watches to hit that kind of demand.

So far just the blue. I was placed on the waiting list for the blue, but was told I can leave a deposit for the black or silver dial.

I really want the blue so I’m waiting. Who knows when that will be.
