Personally, I like the automatic, it is more portable in everyday life then the 62xx and, last but not least, I like them to wear, White more then black.

I’ve seen those range from 20-25k. It seems the black dial 16520s are carrying a slight premium at the moment. The A-series is relatively rare and the SEL and super luminova make it one of my favorite series.

In Parma I saw 16520 from 15.000 Eur (bad condition, no papers etc.,....) up to Eur 54.000 asking prices. White always a bit higher then black.

Those look like the hollow end links to me. Solid end links shouldn't have that small connecting center link

Here's an example of SEL

Have you checked the case to ensure its A-serial? Either you have a replacement bracelet or dial, I'd guess.

I paid $25K for my black A series. About 2 months ago.

Condition was almost NOS though, with a casebook sticker. Getting plenty of wear and is a keeper though.

I've wanted a black zenith since they were at the $12K ranges but never pulled the trigger till recently.
I did get the white one before prices went crazy though fortunately.

Thank you. Indeed it is a '91 N series. I like the combo with the brushed bracelet. I'm actually not quite sure what they are worth today if I am honest, that one is a watch only. The black A series is a full set.
Both are keepers; The daytona itch is an expensive one!

Back to the beginning of the thread:

16520 - Porcelain 40$ +
16520 - floating dial 30-40$
16520 - inverted 6 25-35$
16520 - rest 18-25$

In general white dials more then black and for sure with papers more then without.

Answers, Comments welcome...

From what I’ve seen on Chrono24, the black dials are a bit less common and selling at a premium, at least those without special rare dials. Those are great price ranges IMO.

You are right. It is a 6 digit number. My bad. But isn't that a non ceramic SS Daytona? I'm confused. I don't know squat about model or reference numbers. Isn't the 116500 the Ceramic Stainless Steel Daytona?

but this one is definitely not ceramic and also a 116520 from 3 months ago in Tokyo. Prices have risen since then I'm sure.
