are we all crazy?
they ALL have 4 lines between the second indicators (for a total of 5 counting the actual second indicator to the right if you will), wether or not the second hand pulses to each line it becomes a guesstimate when it gets down to the 10th of a second.

This is a great review. I am so happy that I am now the proud owner of a brand new SS Daytona. This was my christmas present from Me to Me. It makes a great addition to the collection.

Brilliant piece of review work, considered to be timeless (especially since this review was written back in 2007) and classic. It did influence me in taking the plunge on a Daytona just recently. Am loving my piece since then. Further, just an observation I wish to share: Considering that the movement was developed some 12 years back, am pretty amazed as how this Rolex 3day movement continues to outdo/outsize the newer 3day movement of other brands. Just go to show how good the Rolex folks are in creating their timepieces. Thanks again for sharing...

Fantastic review. Glad Rolex got an in-house movement together but I'll always have a soft spot for the El Primero. Just wish they'd added a date window!

Blasphemy!!

A date would ruin it! If they ever do decide to add a date, I hope they make a new model (IE: Date-ona ) and leave this beauty as it is!
