My Tudor Hydro I
Prefer the new design dial, the black bezel insert and of course thedrilled lugs and cyclopsdate window.
Trip-lok crown/tube is great for water resistance. Clasp welll we all know that aspect of Rolex.Tudor older designs.... |

While recently in Germany I finally got the BB I ordered.
I was a little worried about the color and the size/hight. But... I couldn't be happier. The first Rolex I ever bought some 22 years ago was a 1958 Submariner. That was my daily beater for a decade until it was worn to the ground. No with the new BB I feel like I got back to the basics. The watch just looks so right and feels and looks on my arm really so much like the original '58 I once had. And the color is just perfected and reminiscent of a Coke as well (but with an even better red). Amazing watch... IMG_1689.jpg IMG_1692.jpg IMG_1695.jpg IMG_1736.jpg IMG_1734.jpg |

I have been saying this for a long time, but can't wait until they return to US market. It's only a couple of months away now!

After admiring all these beautiful Tudors (especially the blue ones!) I've notice the Submariner comes in model # 79090 and model #76100. They appear to me to be almost identical. Would someone mind telling me what the difference is in the two? Is the blue dial (non snowflake) the same shade of blue on each model. Thanks for any help on this.

Mine is a 76100 and I think that this photo depicts the blue color nicely. I did not think that there was any difference in the blue for the 76100 v the 79090, but I will defer to others who know more than me. I was told by the selller (a shop I view as very knowledgeable and reputable) that mine is 1978. It has a Rolex crown, an "Oyster Case By Rolex Geneva" caseback and a Rolex bracelet, all of which I was told are original and correct for year. I absolutely love the watch, and would highly recommend getting one.

It's a sickness. This is my third Tudor, and won't be the last.
