I enjoyed that tremendously...

...but I can't remember the details and can't spot the differences anyway. However I find the watches extremely enjoyable to look at and consider. For now--until I learn much more on the subject, buy a loupe and have the nerve to ask people if I can examine their wrists--I am content to ponder this fine article and the 5513.

Thank you for a pleasurable read.

It looks like the 5513 continues to be a popular reference with both new and experienced collectors alike. Happy to see that the site continues to be valuable source of helpful information.

Yes, many thanks for your great reference! It helped very much and also to two of our great TRF forum members who assisted me in finding my two (lucky timing) 5513 MFs. One of them is an earlier 5513 MF, serial 1.58 MM.

Very good site.
I once saw a posting on a very reputable sellers website that didn't make sense; the dial didn't match the date of the watch.

Turned out they had sent two 5513's to their watch maker, who had unknowingly swapped the dials. The information on this website saved the day and all was fixed.

Wish they had some more info on the bezels... that would make it perfect.
