Something else cool will be announced next and you’ll be in a better position. I can imagine there was an insane amount of mouths to feed. You have some great pieces already so nothing to lose sleep over.

A photo like that is exceptionally rare. I can't imagine there's more than 30 AST and FFC in existence.
Since there only two watch maker that works on AST and FFC
AST is indeed rare. I was told about 4 are being made per year by one of the ADs. And if we speculate based on past trend, the AST may have a run of 10 years. So in the end, there may be only 40 for the entire run. With 20/20 hindsight, the OW AST was actually a bargain at 2x the production version’s price. Compare to FFC, it is also a bargain with almost infinite choices for customization. It even comes with a bracelet. But I love both.

I'm not a big fan of the self proclaimed 'Mr Wonderful' but this was an interesting interview with FP. At the end he states that there will be non more limited editions, and that he believes they are stupid haha.

Yes, this is a first of the last. Which makes this special and unique. The movement in this special edition will not be used in any other FPJ and this model will never be made into a regular production model. I believe that js why 200 will be in this edition so it is more “accessible” and can provide a chance for owners of the previous limited editions a chance to collect a full set plus some new comers to the Tokyo edition.

IMHO. From the brand’s POV, everything is limited already so no need to come up with more limited editions. And if someone wants something truly unique, there is always the AST which has a full array of customization which makes each AST a piece unique.
