I have lots of Daytonas to compare it to...no doubt the Zenith is a better piece all around other than maybe the clasp on the bracelet...the movement, the dial, etc...superb. But a Daytona will always be a Daytona.

Can you post some pictures if you have a chance? i would love to see one in person and considering this as a next

this is 100% correct but sad enough most people don't know enough about watches and just buy 'names'

For those asking for ADs that will sell it at a discount, good luck. The white dial is out of stock everywhere. I tried to get Westime in LA to discount it and they wouldn't even respond. The Grey Market is about $10,250 for the white dial rn.

My guess is that the Daytona shortage has pushed people to look elsewhere for chronos, and because this looks similar and is at a reasonable pricepoint, it's in demand with no need to discount. I bought one from an AD in CT for $9850 and no tax. They only had one. Most ADS, if they have it, only have one.

Not sure if zenith is purposely limiting supply, but this feels like it'll be a watch that holds value.

Love it, black dial on a black strap is the way to go as you don’t get that Daytona homage thing going on. I’d buy one prepared when the hype dies in 2022. Wouldn’t pay more than £6500

Black dial also resembles a Daytona... The SS black dial daytona, funny enough.

I was kind of referring to the fact it has a black strap so it’s quite clearly not a Daytona as they don’t make it that way. The only reason I didn’t mention the white dial with blue strap is because the blue strap is horrible.

I feel like the only people that "confuse" this with a Daytona are those who drink the Daytona Kool Aid. The Zenith stands on it's own, from movement to layout. There are only so many colors and it's not like the Daytona doesn't come in more than enough dial combinations. By that logic, anything with a chrono and a three register dial could almost be called a Daytona wanna-be.

I love mine. Have had it about a week now and I love it. Easy to wear and looks great. Also, think it punches well over its weight. The movement in the back is beautifully finished. Just a beautiful well made watch and I picked up the last one the store had.

I haven’t worn this one in a bit. I can take some more pics tomorrow, but it looks awesome with a white racing strap and the snoopy 2.0!

After 3 months of working the night shift with a client in South Africa, I can finally take some time off. But, my vacation did not start off on a good note:

Fortunately, I was able to rectify this embarrassing situation:

Now, this is what I call a birthday present!

No, it's just a cheap one from watch gecko. Very comfy leather/rubber hybrid. Pretty impressed for $50.
