OP and others-
Correct/matching hand sets. Would you please throw us a bone regarding correct hand sets for the Bart Simpson and the (immediate) preceding classic crown, glossy-gilt dials, both 5512 and 5513? My “classic crown” 5513 has a case back stamp of III 65, and serial 1.28 M. What color should my hand set be? Flat, correct? How do I distinguish a correct second hand from a 1016 replacement second hand? How do I identify correct hands from later service hands? This long-running thread is great! Without starting a new thread on hand sets for these two distinct dials, it seems like the perfect place to complete the picture. As you are able, please share. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk |
