Joined the club yesterday and what a beauty she is :)

Anyone know how to post pics from the Iphone nowadays? Somehow, the image resolution is too big for me to post it.

Joined the club almost two weeks ago. And indeed what a beauty. I’m contemplating selling my Blnr now.

Also I think the CHNR is equivalent of the green submariner among the Gmt models. The bezel and dial is just always a pleasure and breath taking to look at.

Fairly new-ish member here.

Interestingly enough, when I showed it to my wife, she thought the nickname "Rootbeer" was not even remotely fitting...she suggested the "Cappuccino," or perhaps the "Mocha Latte."

I just got mine yesterday and love it. Unfortunately I do not have enough post count to post a link yet.

I know this may sound taboo for some of you but there is a member here that swapped the bracelet to an SS and I am thinking of ordering an 116610 bracelet to take advantage of the glidelock. I love the two tone but I also think the focus on the watch will be on the case and not so much the bracelet...
If someone could be nice enough to post that pic please so I can get a good idea what it will look like with an SS bracelet.

I will post a pic of my watch once I have 10 posts... I joined back in 2008 and just recently came back to the forum after finally getting my first Rolex.

Thanks!

It won’t look good to Frankin it up. The Rose gold and brown/black meld nicely. The steel bracelet dumbs it down and it looses its affect. Same with the Blusey on SS.

roadie1-you echo my sentiments one hundred percent! The magnificence of the CHNR is totally stripped without the bicolour bracelet-likewise with the Bluesy!
The whole point is why hide your light under a bushel?
These beautiful watches are there to be enjoyed to the full!
I most certainly enjoy whichever gorgeous piece I choose for the occasion in all its glory!
I’m very fortunate to own them both.

Why would you pay the premium for a gold and then take off the gold? That makes zero sense.

I agree. Rootbeer should be for the 4 and 5 digit references. Black and Tan much better suits this one.

Taking proper photos to get the right colour balance is difficult.

Most photos seem to have washed out bezel numbers.....

I've still not managed to take a satisfactory photo yet that looks as good as the watch does in person.
