Just realized I missed a word in my previous post/comment: The Tudor BB Harrods edition with jubilee bracelets posted by other owners in this thread does look nice imo.

inquired via the Harrods website 2 days ago. After 3 emails, one from Harrods customer service and 2 from the Tudor SA in Harrods, I was told they had a cancellation and had one available for me and when would I like to set an appointment for pickup!! Now need to see if they will let my wife's good friend pickup and she is my only London contact..

Not only can you walk in and buy it, you can add it to your bag and buy it online!

Life is short, buy the watch.

Buying experience at Harrods

Visiting London for a couple of days and decided to take a look at the Tudor Harrods.

Liked the watch in general and was on the fence about purchasing given the price, until the conversation took an interesting turn when the Salesman informed me that he is selling a number of these to clients in Hong Kong and as there was no tax there the price was approximately 600 pounds cheaper with an extra 25 pounds for DHL....

As it turns out I will be in Hong Kong in the middle of June for 7 days and was able to purchase the watch at 600 pounds less uk price and the sales rep will ship out the watch to my hotel in Hong Kong...

The sales rep then went on to tell me he has hundreds of clients in Hong Kong he has never met, they simply choose the watch they want and he sends them a Harrods payment link and ships it out to them for 25 pounds....

Usually they request watches such as the Harrods one or watches that are on sale, for example he told me if I wish he could send out the burgundy black bay 41mm on oyster for 15 percent discount as well as no tax making the cost approximately 2400 pounds...not a bad deal plus there were other discounted watches he could send out at relatively good prices, such as the same watch on a leather strap for about 2075 pounds....

For what it's worth, he also told me production has been discontinued on the Harrods Tudor watch, although he said to be honest he has quite a bit of stock which he predicts should last the rest of the year...

A nice watch, if a little on the thick side, but worth getting as it will be the high point for the 41mm case now discontinued. Worn on the olive Rubber B strap it is a knockout.

Great pic! Can you say more about the “884 left”? I may have missed something about the Harrods BB, or maybe this is a tongue-in-cheek comment?

Either way, congrats.

Thanks so much.

I checked how many were available online. As of today there are 750 left so they are going down fairly quickly.

Thanks. I didn't realize that Harrods had an online inventory tracker, if that's where you're finding what's available (I wasn't able to find it from the link provided). But I did log in and was able to put 5 BB in the cart - seems there's a max one could purchase! (🤪)

624 left today so I would say at this rate there will only be another 2-3 months before it is discontinued.

As promised, this little beauty was waiting for me when I reached my hotel in Hong Kong this week, sans tax

Lot’s of folks in here are acting like they’re holding onto the next Paul Newman Daytona.

I agree; I remember watching one video where the ‘tuber believed that the BB Harrods would go to £10K once discontinued - even the original black bezel smiley 79220N which had a 6 month production run (so is rarer than the Harrods) is going for something like a 50-75% premium on original price, so don’t see much of a premium (if any) on the Harrods once it’s stops. Having said that I’ll be keeping mine.

I have one put away as I just had a feeling it might be collectable one day, but I now get the feeling it was a mistake.

There are just too many in circulation, but the big killer will be if they replace it with a newer model with the case, dimensions and metas movement of the Burgundy or monochrome models.

I suspect that's what will happen next, at which point this V1 will become inferior rather than collectable.

Yeah I would just wear and enjoy that watch. This will not be a collectible IMO. Just too many out there and like you point out, once they redesign the entire BB41 lineup most folks are going to opt for the latest version with the slimmed down case. They are going for <MSRP from the greys currently.

I sold mine because i didn’t like the thickness. If they slim it down, I’ll consider again.
