Yep. Me too. Should’ve bought the white 114300 but instead went with Rhodium. However the 39mm doesn’t work for me so I got rid of it. If Rolex had the discontinued white dial in the 41mm I’d be all over it. Alas they didn’t so I didn’t nor will I buy any of them

I wanted the green but it wasn't really the tone I was looking for. I'm fondest of the Silver which I've got. The torquoise is really only attractive because of the hype, imho.

Not for me, not keen on any of the bright colours in the OP range…that being said, I don’t mind the similar shade of blue, or some of the bright dial options on the Doxa dive watches

Been on the wait list since the day it was announced pre hype so yes. However the odds of getting one are less than getting a blue SkyD per my AD so I bought this Nomos this week to satiate my desire for a fun blue summer watch

I would like to see it first before I considered buying because I keep my watches and therefore would be with me for a longtime.

When I first say these releases at a private showing at my ad. They looked like swatches. My ad said, words to effect that they are not serious watches. This was not an up-spend pitch. For my part, I don't get any of them. Hype is making them desirable.

We asked for a baby blue 36mm OP for my wife on the day they were released. Never heard from the AD.

That's a nice looking watch! Love the blue and the red second hand in the subdial makes it pop. Congrats!

This will be my next present for my wife. Let me know if you find one in an AD.

Some great responses, opinions, thoughts and photos posted! It seems that there are quite a few people on both sides of the fence. Glad to read that most people who want one or have bought one do so because they like the watch itself, and not so much for the hype. Thanks everyone for your replies!

I thought about buying the green when the new OP first came out, but after the hype and the hike in price... I am no longer interested.

I thought is was a cool summer watch from the start, I was able to get one shortly after it started being delivered to the AD. My wife saw it the day I got and fell in love with the color as well. I placed an order for the 31mm and was able to get it within a couple months.
To answer your question yes, I bought it without the hype, BUT being completely honest, when the hype started…… I didnt think twice about getting my wife’s knowing that I could get all the money back if I needed to cash it out. |

My goodness no. I actually love that tiffany color, but i don’t think it would look good on me. I would buy a 36mm for the wife.
