Has the Oyster Bracelet on the Datejust always been available with brushed or polished center links? Or is the polished center link a recent addition to the options list?
Also, I never see any with the same bezel as I have on my Datejust. Is this bezel uncommon? Is it SS or 18k WG? I am under the impression it's SS... but the ad I pulled the link from suggests it's 18k WG. I like that it's different than the same fluted bezel I see on most DJ's, but curious as to why i never ever see it. http://www.bobswatches.com/mens-used...8.2011face.jpg Thanks in advance for your input. |

I believe that bezel is called "engine-turned" ... or maybe it's engine-tuned. |

right, i believe it's engine turned as well. Just wondering if Bob's Watches got it wrong as I thought that bezel was stainless and they're advertising it as 18k. Or maybe it was available in both?
Does anyone know what years that bezel was available and when they stopped selling it on the DJ? |

What's with this dial???
Hi guys,
A friend of mine picked this up from a supposedly reliable jeweler. He also had it looked at at another jeweler, in another Country no less. But whats with the dial? Any comments? These are the images he sent me from his iPhone. Thanks |

Some beautiful DJ's here!
Here's my TT DJ with dimonds on gold dial, my first Rolex. I'm also persuing another DJ that's available right now, but I'll keep that one close to the vest until the deal is struck. Then I'll post some pics. |

. That is pretty similar to my 1st Knock-off (from Asia) that I got as a 'token' Rolex...(quartz)..from my better half, more that 25+ years ago. Its still running, but I hardly wear it At All.. since I got the 'Real Thing'.. - tho not with diamonds...!! Love my Real TT DJ...!!

My fiancé just gave me this Datejust as an engagement gift. I was blown away, and absolutely love it.
Ref 16234 Originally had black stick dial, but I had it changed to the anniversary blue dial with Arabic numbers Jubilee band Fluted bezel |

Thank you! It took a lot of searching to find (and decide) what I wanted, but I'm glad I did. Couldn't be happier with it!

As I'm looking to purchase a TT Datejust I am noticing that few TT have oyster bracelets. Exactly how rare are the TT oyster bracelets on vintage DateJusts? Is there a year range I should keepy my eyes out for where oyster bracelets are more common?

Model Number Question
Hello,
I am new to the community and am not sure if I am posting this in the right place. I have a quick question that I am hoping you can help with. I have a friend who is a jeweler and is going to order a watch for me. He requested the model number but I coud not find it anywhere. He said that 116334WIO is not the right number. This is that watch I want: http://www.thetimetv.com/_upload/_actu/actu_1173.jpg Can anyone help? |

Hello everybody?
I have visited lately a rolex shop and seen a wonderful datejust. But now, I can't find it anywhere (internet, rolex website). My husband is in Paris and I would like to send him the reference. Can somebody please help me find it! here are some of its characteristics: datejust 31 mm bracelet jubilee with everose gold chocolate font roman dials, with the "VI" in diamonds the upper circle is not smooth and with no diamonds thank you!! |

I see in many classifieds that the Datejust ref. 116200/116234 is reported to be sized 37 mm instead of 36 declared by Rolex.
I know that the 16200 is 35 mm instead of the declared 36 (http://clockmaker.com.au/rolex_case_size.html) So what's the exact case diameter of the 116200? |

I believe the 36mm DJ actually measures 35mm, but for reference is always referred to as 36mm. I don't think the standard DJ has changed dimensions. The AK and Date are called 34mm (don't know how big actually), but the difference next to a DJ is pretty clear. I doubt that it is 1mm.
