You guys are tripping or in your heads. I have the 126500LN and the 116500LN. The 126500ln wears better for me and feels more substantial in the best way possible. The bracelet is just as SOLID, if not, more so than my 116500. And I just got a new bracelet for my 116500 last month. It feels the same... Why would Rolex make the new 126500LN bracelet less solid. Makes no sense. Just my personal opinion

I've never felt a 116500 Daytona bracelet so I can't comment on that |

Yes the SS Daytona bracelet is lighter, less solid, and feels cheaper than the SS GMT II bracelet. It's strange it hasn't been mentioned before.

Even compared to a Z Blue bracelet. I have an old reference Batman, Hulk, Panda Daytona, Z Blue all from AD so I can actually compare. When I first got my SS Daytona it's the first thing I noticed.

Literally not "this"
As numerous others above have agreed - the Oyster bracelet on the SS Daytona (12 references at least) is less substantial, lighter and noisier than that on a 116 or 126 GMT Master II. As a recent first-time Daytona owner it's the first thing I noticed. |

After investigating last night, I found where the noize came from : the deployant clasp.
There is a play between the two parts that makes tik-tik when you put the watch on the wrist. Once on the wirst no more noize. I found the same play on the deployant of the BLNR bracelet but much less noizy. Next time at AD I'm going to try to check on an other 126500. |

Lovely pictures, you’ve certainly captured the beauty of the watch … reason why I love the Daytona above all other Rolex models ..

New Daytona 126500 Appreciation Post and Comparison vs 116500
Either are great. Still slightly prefer the 11 versus the 12. I like the bolder sub dials on the 11 and the overall proportions (smaller, less “Maxi Case”). I do think the AR coating on the 12 makes that dial pop a bit more.

Solid subdials would be a winner for me ..
I think the picture shown so close up the crown guards are most noticeable to me .. The outer ring I’m warming to .. But let’s be honest if you had either you’d be delighted …

I’m a huge fan of the metal ring around the bezel on the 12 series, to me it brings a more mature and refined look, harking back to the old 6263’s. It also frames the watch nicely when looking at it head on.
I think that Rolex have absolutely nailed the 12 ref Daytona, the slim and tidy hour markers, the symmetrical case etc. One thing I would love to see, would be a Jubilee option, simply because some of the classic references were available on Jubilee, and these contemporary Daytonas look incredible on them |

Exactly. Check the laser etched crown in the dial glass. It will have the double rings indicator anti reflective. We’ve had 4 116500LNs from 2019 to 2022 and they all had the AR lec

I would love to know more about the ceramic bezel on the 12 ref
Rolex describe it as one piece, although it clearly is not, but they've also been clear that it is NOT a bezel insert like on a GMT or Submariner I'd love to see some more detailed technical specs from Rolex, or if someone is brave enough to ever remove theirs and see... I am not lol |

Crowning the dial is the latest generation of scratch-resistant sapphire crystal. Its ballistic shield-like resistance is augmented by a new proprietary anti-reflective nano-coating applied to both upper and underside surfaces. This coating provides the ref. 126500 with remarkable color stability and clarity free from refraction under all lighting environments. The new coating technology also offers greater scratch resistance over previous Daytona crystals, ensuring optimum optical clarity is maintained over years of use. https://www.bobswatches.com/rolex-bl...ing-guide.html |
