This gets better! Hold on to your seats!

I"m Busted!

My sweet wife sat down at the computer this morning after I left for work. I had left the TRF window open to my thread. She read the entire thing.........................

She wanted everyone to know she isn't a "Rabid bear" or anything else negative. I was being "Rash" and failed to point out my own faults. I was told to explain that I am a complete moron, and so on, and so forth.....

Where's JJ with some kind words?

Jenn, if your reading, You'll never find my piggy bank!

Man, all I can say is, your wife must be very tolerant , because most other guys would be typing their post of these events from a motel room...asking if anyone has a room to rent!

Great story Paul. Good job pleading guilty it short circuits the wife's mind and gives you time to think of plan B.

Good luck on that triple 6

Paul I just wanted to make sure all knives, guns, batons, weapons of mass destruction are put in a safe to protect you from you wife. Good thing is she works at the hospital and she knows the quickest route.

BTW: I know Tiger was cheating on his wife with other women, however I do not want you to end up looking like Tiger for hiding money.

Wow, I can see a scriptwriter's dream here for a blockbuster movie or skit comedies... With tons of potential sequels & massive seasons!!!!

Paul, have you ever thought moving down to Hollywood or something for a career change?

Paul,
Love your "Never give in" attitude.
You are a credit to your gender.
Next time it all seems too difficult I will just recall this story.
You are my new hero. (Sorry Spiderman)

A dremel is the best way to trim the nails without risk of cutting into the quick. As for the hair... well not sure what he looked like prior to the trim, but I don't think it's too bad - maybe you can brush it out?

Murphy' Law
Anything that can go wrong will go wrong

Once again! I'm watching things closely for any issues. Covering my tracks if you will.

Last night after I took the pictures of Melanie, I brushed her tooth, and put her in the crib. She was crying, and pitching her normal evening tantrum. I proceeded to do a couple loads of laundry, and check my TRF regularly. I was getting ready to go to bed myself. Now My sweet wife was at work last evening, and I'm watching the baby until 0700hrs when we pass the torch. She comes home from work, and I leave for work. The baby is still asleep.

Keep in mind, I'm in the freakin dog house, and can't do anything right (or have just been cought doing the normal).

I was turning the lights off in the kitchen, and heard a rattle from the other side of the house. I figured it was a stack of disk in the computer room, or something. I heard a bumping from the front again. I went over to the dog crates, and all 3 dogs were snoring, and farting in their crates as usual. Sound asleep.

Then I heard the door to the baby room being pulled back and forth. The door handle was also being juggled, and a frustrated yell from the little midget monkey britches herself.

Melanie had climbed out of the crib! Jusus...Had I gone to sleep, and just heard her complaining on the monitor, both of us would have gone to sleep. I would have woken up, and gone to work, leaving everything to my wife. That was close.

Could you immagine all of my screw ups this weekend, and then my sweet loving best friend greatest woman to grace the earth spousel unit general issue 1 each had come home, and checked in on the baby, and BAM! The baby is asleep on the floor in a giant pile of emptied baby wipes, and empty drawers!

This would be a disaster! Much like finding your 18 year old son passed out in a pile of beer cans, this was the todler equivelant. She would have torn the room apart looking for a hidden toy, or opened every pack of clean diapers, taken her clothes off, and passed out from a party in her little world.

And then my wife would revert back to me passing her this morning with a quick kiss, and answering "everything's fine! She slept good lastnight" when she ask how Melanie was doing. I stroll out to the car, and as I back from the driveway she finds this.

Close call, but I discovered it just in time! I sat in her room, and watched her escape from her confines. Her little pajamas should be striped like an inmate. Just short of filing the bars loose on the crib, she was getting out.

I just got over the time where I put her to bed in her little zip up pajamas, and forgot to put a diaper on her. Let's just say I missed one step in the bedtime routine, and now I'm on probation again. I'm walking on eggshells over here!

I have to tell you she has ESP all women do when married. My wife caught me putting money away for another project watch and the only relief I have is I have my own room to hide in. She is a great wife.

We really do get along well. I just push it sometimes. I spend all my mess up tokens at one time. She is a really good person, and let's me do most of the things I want. She's getting ready to pop twins out in August, so everything is focused on babies, and getting everything ready.

Me on the other hand have a limited amount of time. I have to get everything finished before the twins. If I don't have a Seadweller purchased before then, it may be a few years before that happens. It's really funny to me, and I just have to share. I have a great family, and wouldn't trade it for anything.

I really have dug myself into a hole. It will all be water under the bridge in a few days. (If I don't add to the list of messups) I've been rolling laughing myself, but of course my wife wasn't standing next to me either.
