Love that lume

Love that lume. Is that charged with sunlight or indoor lighting? Mine rarely gets that bright unless I'm out in the UVs.

As you can see, mine already has the "patina of wear" on it, which I actually don't mind.

Have a BLNR on oyster and a Z.Blue Milgauss. Popped into my AD last weekend to ask them to request one of these. Am also currently waiting on a Submariner LV with them, which I'm told I'm getting very close to after a nudge over a year. And in non-Rolex news they've also allocated me on e of their Seiko 5 Sports Brian May whe n they arrive in erm, May. Probably gathered from almost the above though that I do like a colourful dial or at least a splash of colour on the rest of the piece.

I had asked my AD to order the chocolate dial one for me and when I went there to pick it up, I saw the sundust dial and liked that a bit more. At the time, I thought that I may get bored with the chocolate dial. However, every time I see the picture of DJ41 with chocolate dial, I like it a lot.

If you can choose again between the two dials, which one? Is there something you don't like about the sundust dial?
Thanks.

Thanks.
I compared both at my AD before buying and I went with the Sundust which is IMHO very versatile. I would say is something between Chocolate, Rhodium and Silver, I really love it.

I'm leaning towards the sundust. Please post some pictures. Thanks.

How Does This NATO Work?

I realize I'm walking into a hornet's nest here, but I'd like to hear your opinions on how well this nato strap works with my DJ41 smooth bezel and a rhodium dial. (I bought it with a jubilee strap, which I also love.)

DJ41-NATO.jpg

Thanks. All opinions valid and welcome.

Yeah I think I Agree with You Juan

Changed my mind. The jubilee can't be beat. TBH, my first reaction was the DJ41 does look big on your wrist. Then again, I've always liked big watches. Used to wear a 46 Hamilton, lol. Wear yours with pride. You have a piece of precision machinery on your wrist that merchant seaman of a few centuries back would literally have mortgaged their ship for. It's amazing if you think about it.

The lugs do look like there is a little bit of an overhang, but more importantly it looks like too much dial on your wrist.Try the 36mm 126200 with the same configuration. You might be surprised

Hi, thank you for your kind input. Yes I guess I will the 36mm a try before deciding. What do you think of the explorer 1 or the GMT batgirl? Will these also be to big for my wrist?

The only person who can determine whether a watch is the wrong size for your wrist is you.

Try on different watches from different brands, find a watch that feels comfortable on your wrist and that makes you smile when you look at the watch.

Don't get hung up on brands or models, just find the watch that fits and suits your style.
