It is indeed fascinating how your humorous tongue in cheek post turned into a shopping list for random people! LOL

With that said, I'll take a 124060 or a green dial OP36! Ha ha! My AD is working on both for me but who knows how long it could be.

In all seriousness, have fun. I bet a leopard print Daytona is in your future.

Don't forget to make them engrave the back, too!

Interesting thread...looking for my 1st (OP41 - 124300 - silver dial)...and yes, I have a low post count, lol

flashback less than 2 years ago.....it was our 25th and the wife insisted on getting me a Rolex, I insisted on an Apple Watch instead (I know, I know).....fast forward to now and the wife has caught me several times admiring OP41s on youtube....she always responses with "you had your chance".....

knowing her....she's plotting to getting me one for my BD or our 27th.....little does she know how the ADs are....but you never know....and I can dream....

As trivial as it may sound, but a Sub Date SS is what's currently on my list. Also I am fine with obscure phallic engraving on the caseback to prevent flip.

Can we all agree that if OP shares a watch with this community, that the watch caseback should be engraved with either “vh2k” or “TRF”?!

Yes! That would be awesome.

I am looking for a 228235 with the olive dial if you stumble across one!

I hope you won't fall in love with a two tone ladies Datejust for your significant lady in your life, however for me, it'll be cool "PIF" suprise gift for my mother.

So, I'm going to do something spontaneous, maybe risky, and possibly CRAZY!

I'm going to visit a few Rolex stores THIS WEEK and I'm going to buy the FIRST piece I'm offered -- no matter what it is! And, if I love it, I'm going to keep it. If I don't 100% love it, I will make it available to a TRFer who wants it. I'll pay it forward to a Rolex lover who really loves the piece.

I'm up for the challenge. Will I be offered anything at all? Will I end up with a Datejust with diamond bezel? Will I get a YG Daytona? Who knows? If it's a nice one, I'll snatch it away from the evil flippers and release into the TRF universe - the home of all pure and Rolex-worthy watch lovers.

Edit: If you have a dream watch, please be super specific.
Hero! Hope you get something nice for yourself or or for one of us.
Will be following this thread, curious.

Love this thread. Anyone connect yet?

I'm getting married this year and I requested a TT GMT from the local AD. I doubt one will materialize..

There are currently no hot SS models I'm after. I'd be interested in a new Rolex 116233. Specifically: YG/SS, fluted bezel, white or champagne dial, sticks or Romans, jubilee bracelet. If you find one one and prefer not to buy it at all just PM me and tell me where it is.
