You’ll chase fewer scratches if it is on the OF. Just the head and the clasp.

On a full RG bracelet there are 12x more chances to catch a ding - especially on the PCL’s.

Full PM bracelet, nothing like weight of gold on the wrist.

Go to an AD that has exhibition models to try them.

I’m going with the oyster flex… there’s just something about it that I love. I know it’s all personal opinion and there’s really not one right or wrong answer but I just love it on the oyster flex. I think if I am to get a full precious metal, it’s going to the platinum Daytona or Patek.

In my opinion, you made the right choice.

Put my deposit today. My guy said he will have it Thursday or Friday. But I’ll be in Palm Springs Thursday through Saturday.. so probably can’t get it till Saturday… patience now, but I’m pumped. Picking up 2021 Yacht Master 40 Slate Dial at the same time. Will post photos when I have it in hand!

OF just looks better to me. Ceramic bezel and contrasting band makes this the choice.

Can’t go wrong with either but I prefer the look of RG and OF. Full RG bracelet is too loud for my preference.

Got it this week. Stuck in Mammoth right now. Crazy blizzard. Brought the Yacht Master 40 with me. I’m loving the YM 40.

Congratulations!!! Looks great on you. Don’t you love the oysterflex? It truly just disappears on the wrist. Please post pics of you YM. I love that dial and blue seconds hand.

I will definitely post more pics.. I’m still stuck in Mammoth in this blizzard. I’m hoping the roads open tomorrow and I can come back home and then I’ll snap some more.

There is no wrong answer on this one, both are great, both have a place in a collection.

For me … the Daytona is a sports watch, and I like the look of a sports watch on a Rubber Bracelet.

I have one on Rubber (116519), and one (116500) on metal … for me, that is a perfect combo.

Haven’t read the previous 113 posts but I hate rubber straps so PM all the way for me.

Almost every photo in doors I take it looks yellow gold. It’s a special piece for sure. I think I would like to get a platinum Daytona at some point.

Beautiful piece, Alksion, congrats! It’s the rose gold version, right?

I’m waiting on the white gold steel dial version and already know it’s not going to happen this year so I hope that next year, it’ll happen for me.

Yes rose gold. That will be a beautiful piece. I don’t have a ton of patience these days, but if you get it, it will be well worth it.
