No games played at Journe. They don’t promise you anything, and they will tell you the year before if and what allocation you’ll be getting for the next year. First class maison, from their product and from their costumer service.

I do like F.P. Journe a lot and have been to their boutiques in NYC, both at the old one and the new. Also have been attending several of their events and have met some good friends and collectors.

My only feedback is that I have been working with (passef around) 3 different SAs now for the past 4 years. Therefore my experience is not as good. I will say that they do take care of me everytime I’m there.

My guess will be simpler pieces like a CS or Automatique.

But best is to build a relationship with the boutique first by visiting and then express your interest. They should provide feedback on how realistic it can be. I agree with everyone here that they are quite transparent. If it is not possible, they will just tell you so.

At this point, probably a CS or Lune (some other pieces as well). I know people that have gotten more in-demand pieces (for example, vertical tourbillon) as a first piece but there are always some extenuating circumstances in those cases.

Although I have high expectations for my little girl, even I think that graduating anything at 11 weeks old is tough. Who knows. Maybe by the time she turns 1 she can apply for undergraduate

I have a memory of seeing this in the case at Govberg in like 2018 and it was like 70k. It’s 130k now!?

My experience with the FP Journe boutique wasn't great. I live in the midwest, but stopped in the boutique two years ago. I spend about an hour with one of the staff trying on watches and looking through the catalog. I expressed interest in the chronometre souverain havana. The staff told me that the waiting time for production was 2 years and that they would contact me when my name comes up. I reached out to the boutique recently and was told that they don't have me listed for any model and that the wait time is now five years, but "hopefully you can make it down to Miami soon to visit the boutique".
The vibe I get is that unless you stop in frequently and go to their events, they aren't selling you a watch. It's not possible for me so I'm out of luck. I'm sure that they won't lose any sleep over my frustration. :)
