Thanks. I love the ACM straps very supple. I will say it appears to be maybe 1/4 mm too wide and as such the strap is wearing faster than it should around the spring bar holes. Regardless I’d probably buy again.

Simply gorgeous!

Thanks. As everyone already knows this dial looks incredible all the time and you tend to take your phone out and try to capture it only to realize it doesn’t translate. Like trying to photograph a mirror and not get a reflection.

Does anyone have any inside on boutique edition Fp journe? I understand that black label can take two to three mechanical watches before an inquiry. Is there such a restriction for boutique Edition? Is there a massive premium attached to the Boutique Edition from Journe?

Black label is an application piece which is allocated to an individual who applied for it. Boutique edition is allocated to the boutique and up to the boutique to allocate to its clients. I have not heard of any requirement of how many pieces one needs to own required to be allocated one but I am sure it would be very hard to be allocated one as a first piece.

As for pricing, the boutique edition’s SRP is right between regular version and the black label. I think it is about 10+% more than a regular reference’s list price.

Which boutique edition are you interested in?

I would imagine you would have to have at least one Journe before requesting a boutique edition.

I'm hoping to get the boutique edition of automatique lune. Been listed for a havana lune for a few years. Not sure how wise it is for me to request this change.

It is okay to have more than one reference on the interest list. Best is to discuss with boutique staff. They can advise.

I heard different from boutique director whom I know for quite a long time. 4 mechanical watches as prerequisite (used to be 3 last year), and FPJ himself has to approve it. The boutique only has 2 BL allocations a year.

For boutique edition, I don't think there is a restriction per se.

It’s a fun change up but you have at least 3 straps I prefer! I have become strangely on board with strap watches. Geezer in the making.

It turns out the Boutique Edition Auto Lune is 10k more than the rose gold edition.

Yes. The pricing seems to be indexed to the rarity and not the difficulty to make the dial.

The black label minute repeater actually costs more than the sapphire dial. I would think the sapphire dial would be harder to make than a black dial.

But nothing in our hobby is logical anyway or we would be all wearing an Apple Watch.

Does anyone know the retail pricing for the new Elegante 48mm Titalyt black dial? Curious to know what people’s thoughts are.

16,000 CHF but that probably will increase in 2024

With the waitlist (if you can get on), you should probably quote the 2028 price.

I think the waitlist is still closed?

They basically came out and said they price the black labels higher because they can and don’t hide that.

Thanks,, are authorized FP Journe dealers allowed to sell over MSRP? Or is it like Rolex and they can only sell for the MSRP unless it’s a used one?

Do you have AD's in Canada? In the US, there are only boutiques which sell only at MSRP.

Price is one thing. Getting on the waitlist is a completely different matter

I would thing you’d be looking at around 20k CHF by the time we get to 2028

I highly doubt that Journe would tolerate an AD selling above list price. But that doesn’t mean that the AD might not want you to have a certain spend level with them before you would get an allocation

There are 2 AD's in Canada. There are several countries where they are sold by AD's.

With many brands opening boutiques now, wouldn't surprise me if they eventually open boutiques in Canada also.

Does anyone know much about the Vagabondage? The case shape resembles the Elegante but it appears to be all made in limited quantities from Series 1 to 3 as I understand.
Does it fit the rubber strap from the Elegante?
Hopefully one day down the road there is a non-LE Vagabondage down the line.

I only know they are all sold. 3 of the owners I know have the Vagabond I and II before they got the III.

There won’t be.

Lots of information online, re the origin (thank you Cartier ;) ), the original charity pieces and the 9 Vagabondage iterations produced.

What do you want to know aside from lug width?
