The sd43 looks like a sub so I tried it on for size and thought it was too big for me. Can you believe I was going to pass on it? I actually was walking out when the SA called me back and said she’ll sell it to me for $10,800. At the time the msrp was $11,300. Hard to believe this story if I didn’t have a copy of the receipt. I was new to Rolex collecting at the time so I was not aware of the ss shortage

Holy smoke. Not only did you just walk up and find an SD43 sitting in the case waiting for you, but you got a $500 discount on TOP of it? Nice job! Can you buy a few lottery tickets for me?

I spent 4 or 5 month reading TRF, watching Youtube, trying to decide WHAT I want more - SubND or SD43. It was so hard to make a choise and I still do not know is this choice absolutely right. But here it is:

Poured a dram of Glendronach to celebrate my divorce and Rolex as a gift for it :)

I initially purchased the SS SD43, loved the fit and size so much that I recently added the TT SD43. Love them both!

I own a SubC and DSSD that I wore in rotation for many years. Thought I got the perfect combination of Rolex divers until I bought my SD43 a few days ago. From the pics I never cared for it, but after seen it on the flesh, wow, just wow. It sits perfect on my 7.5” wrist. This one hits the sweet spot, no need for the other two, love it!

Exactly what I thought, felt and talked with my SA about the day this reference landed on my wrist for the first time.
