Just joined the club on Monday! So far pretty robust watch with impressive wrist presence! May need to get creative to get the clasp centered, but that’s easy!

Congrats. Centering the clasp won’t be a problem, you have plenty of links to move including the diving extension.

Congrats! Did you get it through an AD after Jan 1?

Still hoping to mine as soon as the stars align with an AD.

Did not get it through an AD. Long boring story. Paid a small grey, premium that in retrospect, does not bother me AT ALL. The watch is PRICELESS, in my mind and I bought it the day of the price increase, 1/1/22 for what I consider an unbelievable price. (Full set, including stickers.) An AD purchase was preferred but the grey deal does not bother me again, AT ALL and I thought that it would have.

Because your screen name is BMWMotoRider I will tell you a quick story. 18 months ago my friend let me try on his SD43 and I was mesmerized. Last night after my watch was sized and I was able to relax, I sent him a text. The following is an excerpt from that text. "Excluding property, the three coolest things that I have ever bought. ROLEX, Z06 CORVETTE and Ducati 959 Panigale."

Good luck with yours. My guess is that you will have it sooner rather than later and it does not disappoint.

Happy to hear you were able to get your SD43 grey for a great price. I'm still uneasy going grey over concerns of authenticity and I'd prefer not to support the grey market but that could change if I am unable to get one via an AD.

Once I do get my SD43, I'm sure it will also be one of my favorite things I've ever purchased. My current BMW R1200GS is certainly one of if not my top as is some of my recent audio system additions (Wilson Audio loudspeakers, McIntosh electronics). Lots of enjoyment for not a lot of ongoing effort!

Enjoy your new Sea Dweller and congrats!

Man, that price increase hurt!

Got the call yesterday, one week after price hike.
That extra $1,250 plus the extra tax is quite the increase, and can't help but think if they had it before the new year and waited... Still it was great to buy from the local AD.

I thought I was so happy with my Tudor BB GMT and Pelagos, but this SD43 is a a different level-- the feel of the metal, the smallest details just feel so right and it screams quality. I'm a little bigger guy and the 43mm is a Goldilocks for me, for my wrist it wears slimmer than either Tudor, and more balanced, its super comfy!

Excited to see how long the honeymoon phase lasts. Thanks for all your posts in this feed, it helped me find "the better Sub" ... the better Sub at least for me.

Ducati ! The factory is 50 kilometers Bologna (30 miles) from where I live. Fantastic bikes ! with exceptional performance !
But I preferred BMW R80GS / R1200GS , different driving style and approach (like the friend BMWmoto Rider)
Hope you get your SD43 soon and congratulations to SSMOKE

Very cool to be so close to Ducati. I love BMWs but wish some of their tech was up to what Ducati currently offers.

Congrats. You’ll grow to love it even more over time. I love wearing mine. It’s a weekend watch for me. The heft give it a sense of presence that a sub or mgt can’t.
