I got it, clear as day, and I think it's completely relevant. You were just inferring that it would be ridiculous to feel like you have to try to gain favor with the dealer of any of those other highly sought after collectibles by bringing in your entire collection of those pieces. Value not important. Just the act itself of bringing in every piece in a collection of objects to try to gain favor with a dealer of those objects.

I 100% get what you were trying to imply but it’s still not relevant.

vintage guitars, Italian steel bikes & pens aren’t experiencing the same phenomenon in demand as Rolex watches are currently.

Plus, they aren’t brand new - similarly collecting vintage Rolex doesn’t have the same issues so it wouldn’t be relevant to use those as a yard stick either.

We could bat this back & forth all day and we will never agree, so I will just leave it there.
