For a 36mm watch, I actually prefer the Tudor Prince bracelet to the Rolex Oyster for looks. The five-across link design is better proportioned, IMO. It's a very comfortable bracelet, too, with more links than an Oyster, and is really almost half-oyster, half-jubilee.

Just pulled the trigger on one! Currently sporting a BB36 (picked it over a 36mm Exp I) and after looking at countless Datejusts I came across this and couldn't resist.... drilled lugs, ss, day/date, brand new! I think this will be my new daily driver, SO pumped!!!

Very cool! I love that you can still buy a brushed/polished slender oyster case with drilled lugs.... even if it was difficult to locate. I went with the black stick dial. I liked the arabic one too but ultimately I think this was the right decision for me. Cannot wait for it to arrive! and maybe now I’ll actually know what day it is! I love my BB and wouldn’t change the design, but not having a date after being used to it for so many years is a bit frustrating. Would love to see more pics of these on leather (preferably brown) straps. |

Since I read your awesome review on this watch, I've been trying to find one. I wanted the Cali dial but found this BNIB blue stick instead. This one is incoming and will post pictures when it gets here. BTW great review Sir.

Awesome! I think Adam will end up being responsible for drying up the Earth's entire supply of the Date+Day at this point!

Just ordered a new 76200 from third party internet dealer USA. Has a black dial, papers. More importantly I noticed the red plastic in two locations on the bracelet and the little serial on the case. Tells me hasn't been worn. Now I wait.

New 76200, dial
black dial configuration is stick for minutes, nothing exotic. The day wheel is in English.

As others have mentioned great thanks to member Adam for bringing this to our attention, along with his detailed review and follow ups. This was extremely helpful and a revelation to me that the watch was still available.
I'd also like to thank member "Jacobkg" for sharing his guidance in regards this reference. This reference ticked a lot of boxes for me. Old style slim case with lug holes, classic styling, day + date complications. I also like the fact that the bracelet is unique. As others have noted the bracelet is extremely comfortable. Some times I wish I never signed up to this forum, read through this thread yesterday and have spent all my spare time over the last 24 hours looking for a Tudor DD.
It's a beautiful piece that I'd love to own at some point.

Unfortunately too many people, especially those who post in the "want to buy section" of this site become a target for the more unscrupulous members of society. I'm not in anyway suggesting that's you, but it's a risk I'm not willing to take. Just seen a cracking example on eBay, shame I'm not comfortable purchasing this way, even with the so called buyer protection PayPal offer which I've unfortunately found out in the past actually means very little.

The perils of buying on line, sometimes, not always,
I follow the old adage, buy the seller nor the merchandise.

I have contacted Jacob before regarding his purchase experience from an AD in Japan, I have contacted the AD and done some research and all looks legit. Haven’t brought anything yet but possibly will by the end of this year. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

Enlightening!
I ended up on this thread after coming across one of these on ebay. I just pulled the trigger on this one, an '80s, I will keep you posted on it. I wanted one of the new ones, and wow... they are HOT and disappeared fast. But this popped up at about the same price, so... went for it...

The older Oyster DDs are great. Congratulations.
