fifth one is either the datejust for it's classiness or speedy if you are either into the "moon" hype or into Snoopy but for me both watches dont matter tbh

Would you ever swap LV for standard sub ?

CHNR and Explorer.

CHNR - I've never liked two-tone GMTs. If you want to go precious metal, commit and go full PM.

Explorer - find it boring relative to the other watches you have.

Why keep both Pepsi and BLNR - because they're both bangers and epitomize what a GMT should be. BLNR more day-to-day, BLRO for special occasions or everyday wear.

Never thought about the gmts that way always assumed CHNR adds more variety over Batman that can look like a sub date from a quick glance

I agree the CHNR adds more variety, the choice is 100% yours and there is no "wrong" answer. You have an absolutely amazing collection, of which any one watch would make a great one-watch collection, never mind Five.

I didn’t think you would

I”m not sure you can look past GMT’s & Subs, so an alternative suggestion would be Datejust, Explorer, & Snoopy out, & to get that blue dial fix add a Bluesy.

I noticed that too. And I was one of the crowd who said never ever to a Rootbeer, until I saw it live! Such a stunner, and now I see what the appeal is and put it on the top of my AD list and got the call in less than 6 months.

I suspect those saying to jettison the CHNR are other staunchly against two-tone, which I can’t get behind, or they’ve never seen it outside of pictures. There are the remaining few who just don’t like it for whatever reason.

But I’m also one of the few here who would say dump the Pepsi. I think the BLNR is so much better looking and classy.

Thank you.

You mention “theoretical” in the post, is this your actual collection? The wrist shots look like different hands. My wrist doesn’t look the same in all pictures, so apologies if I’ve missed something.

If its just 2 you're looking to get rid of, the DJ would be the first one to go for me, and second I'd probably get rid of the BLRO (or any one of the GMT's, but I prefer the other 2)

Keep the speedy. That's easy.
Keep the sub. That's easy as well.
BLRO is my favorite... so that stays.
DJ is the only non-professional one so I would keep as well.

Between the BLNR, the explorer, and the rootbeer... collection-wise the explorer makes the most sense. But I never liked it very much. And I never liked two-tone much either. That leaves the BLNR. I'd probably put it on the oyster bracelet to differentiate it a bit more from the BLRO... but still same conclusion: axe the rootbeer and explorer.

lol

You’re right. If you look closely, it looks like every one of those wrists belong to a different person.

Crazy.

My thoughts exactly.

But to play the hypothetical game and get down to 5, I’d get rid of both SS GMTs.
