Out of curiosity:

1. What is the time everyones SD43 date is changed on?
2. Does anyone feel like their bezel is not aligned to 12:00 correctly some times?

Just picked up my SD43 after being on the wait list for about 3 months.

I don't have massive wrists, about 6.75" and my god this watch is beautiful. Compared to my 1980 Rolex Oysterquartz Datejust the wrist presence is spectacular.

Absolutely love this watch.

Photo credited to the wifey who gifted this bad boy to me as my wedding gift.

Still haven't gotten used to the intensity and duration of the Chromalight on this dial. My old 16600 barely glows now.

Do any of you own both the BLNR and SD43?

I'm wondering if there is enough room in collection for both, or do you find there is too much overlap.

I have the GMT LN and the SD43. There are similarities at a glance but they are two very different watches and do not wear the same at all. Both are great, happy to have them.

Hi all. Picked up mine last week and very very happy with it.

I have a question. The Ad gave me a small presentation box as for a sub.
It's seems too small for this watch though. Dosn't close properly. Anyone else found this?

I received the smaller box with my SD43, just like you get with the SS Submariner. However my box closes properly with the SD43 in the box along with the warranty card and manuals tucked away in the back flap.

All SS have the small box, bi-metal/TT have the medium and PM have the large.
Something must be in the way or the wrong place. All of mine fit with no problem. Other than that, what I tend to do is put the booklets on top of the green box and put the outer sleeve on.
(The cream/white outer box)
