That little red triangle present on each and every post/pm is the report button. It is sent (via email) to all moderators and owner.

On my first day as a member of this forum I PM'd another member about a possible trade. No answer, and I thought, "how rude." But after reading this, and other stories about scammers going so far as to clone the accounts of good, long-standing members, I don't blame him one bit.

This is one thing that can ruin a forum quick. If everyone keeps a keen eye out for these dirtbags and reports them so the Moderators can do their jobs. I must say the moderators and owners of this forum do a fantastic job keeping this forum clean, safe, professional and fun to visit. I for one would like to thank them.

Keeping this current, and relevant, for those unaware!!!

Never click on links sent to via PM, or Email. To much of this BS going on, and falling for it..
Once your account is hacked (from you clicking the phishing link, and login details are captured), the scum use your account to scam another member. Potentially thousands of dollars lost!

Please be aware members !

an attempt last week

I received an email saying I had a PM at another watch board where I have not been active for years. I closed the email and logged in at the watch board and there was no PM. Always go to the board itself and never open any link in email. Spoofing software will allow the sender to make it appear the email is from another as well.
