Aside from the hour hand, does anybody know the difference between a 76100 and a 79090? |

Here is my 76100
I bought my Tudor Submariner brand new from a jeweler in 1986. It has been service twice in that time by Rolex in NYC. And, except for those time it as always been on my hand. My kids virtually have never seen me without it. Both my son's are in line to receive it on my passing, not for a while yet I hope. Picture of it is featured in my avatar. Serial number 876xxx.

My 76100
This is my 76100 picked up in July 2010 from the original owner (with original owner's pics). It was Purchased new in early 1991 or so.
I have included a copy of the RSC invoice for detailed info. This is a very late 76100 and originally had mercedes hands. The dial is original. hands, crystal, crown and tube were replaced at service. JW 4.jpg JW 5.jpg JW 6.jpg JW 7.jpg JW 8.jpg |

New forum member here, greetings! Got hold of a
Tudor Oysterprince model 90733 a while ago. Serial number is 980785, which apparently dates it to about 1983. Movement (according to seller, not checked yet) is ETA 2784. Gold bezel and non-original wristband. Since this is my first Tudor and in fact my first automatic, I would have one question: - the case between the lugs is in pretty bad shape, although otherwise the case, dial & crystal look good (polished and replaced?); between the lugs the case has small "holes" and dents making model and serial no. hard to read, it looks almost like corrosion in some places. Anyone seen similar before? Markus edit: second question about lag removed - will check accuracy of movement for a few days first |

Hi,
I was wondering if anyone could help me identify / tell me anything about this watch I inherited. I literally know nothing about it. It's a Tudor Prince Oysterdate, and also has "rotor self-winding" on the dial. The winder in the side has the Rolex crown logo with a line under it, and the rear case has "Original oyster case by Rolex Geneva" There are what appear to be serial numbers on the case where the lugs for the band are: top (12 position) 799075 bottom (6 position) 593703 Cheers. |

Tudor Princess Oysterdate 92300 - bracelet links
I have a mint Tudor Princess Oysterdate in stainless with smooth stainless bezel 92300 Serial number 3394X with a pale grey dial. Case back marked "Original Oyster Case by Rolex Geneva" with "Stainless Steel" script inset. The watch was obtained with an original Rolex spring expanding type bracelet with Rolex crown on edge of clasp. The previous owner had removed a number of links from the band, making it just to small for a medium female wrist.
The band is in minty condition, with correct end pieces and markings and is a true 11mm sized, not a rehashed 12mm. Any help on spare links or parts for this band???? |

Rolex Crown - vintage designs and variations
I have a growing collection of vintage Tudor watches. Any ideas on how to research various crown markings. I have one with a intersting Swiss Cross with "Rolex" marked underneath.

Hi all,
I would like to get an idea of when my Tudor Prince Oysterdate watch was produced. All the relevant info you can find below. Furthermore, I'm pretty sure this watch is authentic, but as I'm a novice I can't be 100% sure. Please let me know if the second question is inappropriate for this thread Thank you! Tudor Prince Oysterdate
Hi
This is my Tudor Prince Oysterdate which may help with serial number database. Self winding hands gold purchased Hong Kong 2009 The diameter of watch is 31mm at Bezel. As this is slightly smaller, was it made as a unisex model or perhaps a boy? I assume it was made in 1992. Am I correct. I further assume it will be powered by a 25J ETA movement 2824. Serial numbers on case are B4999xx 72033 Cheers George Last edited by Morrie; 29 October 2011 at 09:16 AM.. Reason: unable to add picture |
