On your original question, after seeing your RO and Daytona wrist shots side by side, I would definitely say the Daytona looks a lot better on you. Your skin tone is perfect for the Rolex. And those diamonds on the AP really detract from the watch in my opinion. Unfortunately it starts to look like costume jewellery rather than a high end timepiece.

post viewing the wristshots, I'd say keep the daytona!

You could also consider buying the RO and spending some time with both and then deciding which one to keep.

Different watches mean different things to people but I am a devoted fan of Rolex for many years and I think the RG Daytona is so you.

Thank you for sharing! Do you find the RO smaller or similar when wearing? Thank you again!

I love the AP 15450 and have a SS one but not a fan of the diamond bezel so I'd stick with the Daytona.
Love the Cartier Juste Un Clou

I find both wear the same except the RO dial is a bit smaller but when alone it s perfect for my wrist size.

My wife and I can share on this RO since we have the same wrist size at around 15cm.

Coriel I would try to keep both of the watches because they are both very beautiful and and very different from each other that they can both be kept. They are both iconic pieces. There are no wrong answers here.

If you must choose I would choose the AP. Its in a different league in terms of finishing and that silver dial with the diamonds is beautiful and feminine. AP looks better on you than the daytona. Take the profit and put it into the AP.

Parabéns.

I guess I’m just a Rolex fan but your Daytona looks so fantastic. Trying to be objective but that’s such a cool watch...difficult to decide I’m sure...

You prefer your everose Daytona over your RG RO? I must say that the everose Daytona with choco dial shines millions. It is stunning

This is an interesting question, not just for you, but in general.

Having owned an assortment of Rolexes and AP ROOs (and Pateks and Richard Milles), it is SO DIFFICULT to choose -- as you are seeing. lol

Aside from the other comments, another consideration is "wrist presence," not to others, but to you. Rolex seems to be this awesome achievement of fit form and function. For me, it nails everything I want my watch to be in design, comfort, reliability, and styling.

AP does too, but in different ways. Like many here, I also think AP is a step up from Rolex. It doesn't feel quite as balanced and comfortable and robustly engineered. But, DAM, it has presence! And the finishings and its look are incredible. I KNOW when I have it on.

Clearly, you can't go wrong with either choice. But if you can't have both, maybe "wrist presence" and how it "speaks to you" when you look at it should be your guide. It's not what the watch does or looks like, its how the watch "makes you feel." That might be a little weird, but I've found it to be true.

As Richard Mille said, "You can buy a Casio that is more accurate and has more features. I'm selling works of art for the wrist. The fact that it can tell time -- is just an added bonus"

I love that. It's so true.

The AP on you is stunning.

I think it fits you overall the best.

But it is a personal experience. Wear what you love.

Ok...all kidding aside, the Daytona Rocks on you, it gives you that cool look, it desires you to wear it!

Also, it depends on how you are going to wear it, both are cool but which one makes you smile! That is a smile i would love to see once you pick your desire...please show a picture! Me...Daytona for y0u!

ROs usually wear about 2mm larger than its stated size. I love both RO and Daytona but the RO is a little more special. Get the AP!

Yes I do ... I will post both up ... but like you said the Daytona has just that extra glisten and the chocolate face just sets it off . Don’t get me wrong the Ap is nice but owning both the Daytona just packs that extra punch . And on you personally it suits your skin tone and is way more elegant . Plus the extra bonus this has definitely creeped up in value and retain its value as a sought after piece . My local dealer when I picked up another watch was curious to what I own and when i mentioned I have the Daytona everose in choc face he said he is lucky if he gets one in a year . Anyway will post some pics on the weekend don’t rush into anything have a think about it before you decide .

That's the best piece of advise, in all fairness, both are stunning, but the daytona has more wrist presence and it is more versatile, it looks good with casual as it is a sport watch but also with more dressy outfits giving them a cool and fashion look. Love the RO but the diamonds make the watch only for special occasions. Other aspect is that the RO saved for me is a 34mm, although I have a small wrist, it kinda looks a little smaller than my OP 36mm, and I don't want to go smaller than that.
