Stunning watch but, fortunately or unfortunately, very, very few people can wear it well.
You’re one of the few. The ink definitely helps.
Congratulations and wear it in the best of health.

Rookie question incoming! Is the bezel still functional, as in does it still move? It appears so from the pics but i have no idea.

Congratulations for the piece!

Aesthetically I like better the regular steel Pepsi... A this shows that I understand very little about watches :)
Of course this is special and I actually get the bezel concept, but all those diamonds are a bit too much. Doesn't make it too "girlish"?
Maybe you don't get that feeling when on the wrist.

Congrats on the amazing piece. Does it make you want to remove the GMT hand?

Congrats! It's a stunner.

Does one actually use this for the GMT functionality? I feel like it would be difficult to read.

Honestly, with a watch like this I don't even think about functionality. It's more just like jewelry. From what I heard from the AD, it takes a crazy amount of time to put just one of these watches together with the stones. No idea if it was true but they told me a ridiculous timeframe even I was skeptical about.

Its not discontinued yet..... I know of one that was purchased directly from an AD a few months ago. Rolex sent 116659SABR subs to a few lucky ADs in the early spring of 2021. While common logic would suggest that all 40mm subs are discontinued, I guess Rolex decided to send a handful of ADs 116659SABR subs 8 months after the 40mm sub was "discontinued". Rolex logic with regards to doing things in a chronological order has never made sense and never will lol.

Yes, all GEM set bezels on GMT Masters and the 116659SABR Submariners are fully functional and move just as a normal bezel would. Furthermore, the bezel on the 116659SABR is unidirectional, which is extremely ironic, given that I don't think anyone will be taking a $140,000 Submariner that has a factory set Sapphire and Diamond bezel diving. However, this just goes to show how Rolex always maintains the consistency within their product lines that they are known for. While a factory diamond bezel is completely impractical on a dive watch, Rolex went the extra mile to make sure that the diamond bezel moves and functions just as a normal Submariner Divers bezel would.
