A most humble thanks again everyone. And yes, called yesterday and mom said he is wearing it all the time.
So........ mom and dad visited our local watchmaker yesterday, who sure enough was in awe of dad's gift. Dad and i both pitched in and got mom an early 1990s 26mm yellow gold Presidential as a gift.

What a great story! As a true lefty, myself I love it when a southpaw gets the VTNR. I don’t understand why right handed people buy one. The irony is, I couldn’t wear it, as I wear my watches on my left wrist, despite being a southpaw. You are a good son, Steven.
