Thanks so much for the pics. That is a great combo you guys have! I really the contrast you get with the Titalyt case.

In other news, my boutique piece apparently got stuck at US customs but should now be here any day. Sooo excited!

I know you are in the know and in the rotation for allocation, so your advice should be well considered.

And from all my experience, your examples are right on.. the interesting point is that neither wanting anything nor only the most popular item gets you no where with the brand.

Wanting “anything” in theory or wanting the least popular piece should not be a red flag; like walking in and asking for the CB!

Add a CO then you have the most important trio from the brand. It will be like a complete full course meal with starter, main dish and dessert.

FP Journe Appreciation Thread, an Evolution.

Taking about restaurants…
Any opinion about the FP Journe Restaurant in Geneva? I have the chance to visit it during next Watches and Wonders

Woot, Fedex just dropped off my watch.

No pics because I decided that I wanted to do the whole unveil at the store for my first FPJ timepiece so I'm flying out to the boutique with the sealed box to do it there on Saturday to get the whole unboxing experience and to be wined and dined. :)

It's going to be torture to not open the box until then but the anticipation is kinda fun too.

If anyone wonders why I didn't just go there to pick it up ... as some of you know FPJ is one of the few businesses left that will not charge you sales tax if they ship the watch out of state. So it made sense to send it to me and for me to go back to the boutique for the unveil.

Super excited!

So excited to see it that I thought tomorrow was Saturday. Two more days to go.

The anticipation will make it more special. I am also holding my breath for my allocation which should be arriving in May. Fingers crossed that it won’t be stuck at custom.

Thank you. The only downside is that my special order second strap is running a few weeks behind so it will be on the standard alligator strap. The strap I ordered is baby blue suede with white stitching which I think will look amazing with that dial.

Strap is easy to swap if you are using the pin buckle. Now for me, swapping the deployant was an issue and I actually destroyed one just a few months ago. It costed $800 to get it sent back to Geneva for repair. 🥹

Going to be in Japan soon, does anyone know if the Tokyo boutique requires an appointment or can I just walk in?

Last time I checked, it was appointment only. That was about two months ago.

Are you going to be here in the next 1-2 days? If you are, you are in luck. The Sakura is late so now is starting to blooming everywhere now.

I'll be there in a week... maybe I can catch the end of sakura season haha. Will see if I can make an appointment with the boutique but I'm guessing it might be too late. Thanks!
