Hi Vc fans, Not been wearing my vc blue 3 hand that often. Have opportunity to sell it for 30k. Like the watch but sorta fear 3rd gen will devalue like the 1/2 generation. Appreciate any thoughts, am I crazy to sell now?

Thanks. They answered an email question I had about the fiftysix and eventually gave me a call when I asked about seeing a VC Overseas at an AD (apparently not possible--he said it's Boutique-only). The call came from the same 877 number on their website.

They are not expecting any Overseas with blue dial or Chronometer (the two questions I asked) until next year; 6-8 month waitlist. They can see all of the nationwide stock and said none of the Boutiques had any stock. They did have the one with the silver dial that was available.

They were very knowledgeable and helpful and even had other brands of watches on hand--he was able to describe how the VC dial compares to the white dial on a Datejust 36 I have.

Overall I couldn’t have got a better fitting watch. I got into the overseas from the JLC Polaris mariner in blue. So I initially wanted the blue face overseas - but for me this is a long term grail watch that won’t be swapped. I am not a collector and don’t have 5 other watches … I actually never had a watch worth more the £400 before this. So was looking for longevity and versatility. That moved me onto the silver - and now I have it I prefer it to the blue (even though I recognise that the blue is an awesome watch - and probably the best blue faced watch out there).

Duo time had more going on than I needed l, but would have probably got that in black if I did as I think the contrasting face works better.

Either way - this is an awesome watch and if you’re in the market … worth it!

Have to say with these photos the silver is growing on me, I had not considered it at all a few months ago. For Chrono I still think the reverse panda is the best, I get some silver in the small dials :)

It’s still your lucky day, you got a blue dial VC
Congratulations!
Why did you choose this brand?

I don’t know. Resale value maybe?
Jk. Oldest brand, less recognizable, good finishing, smart bracelet system…. Most importantly, the SA is nice to me. She actually helped me to find one.

Thanks for sharing this. I've been curious how the blue rubber would look with the silver dial. Looks great!

The Gen 2 Chrono 49150 is trading at its original MSRP, $21,500.

I wouldn't worry about your blue gen 3 value.

Pledge, take pics, list for sale on the forum if you want. You might find it hard to get $30,000 wired to you though. Selling to a dealer is likely the easiest route.

Picked this up today so wanting to add to the thread :)

All three photos are taken stood in the same position, maybe a minute apart, just different angles. The dial is mostly dark and subdued until the light hits it just right. I was worried it would be too loud, but 95% of the time it is very discrete.

A great watch that feels high quality, is somewhat under the radar to many, but really shines in so many ways.

Finally got the call for the blue 3 hander! Placed deposit 7 months ago… and they honored the price before the price increase. So far nothing but positive experience with this brand. Will post pics when received next week!

Posting here for some 2nd gen 49150 love :)

Quite possibly the best value HH piece available right now. The AP 26331 shares the same base movement but is listed for 2-2.5x the price of a 49150.

This is a HH piece, with the same movement as a current "hype" piece in the ROC, yet flies under the radar which is a MASSIVE plus for me
