it would indeed look great with your 1665. I got it from crown & buckle. It's heavier grade nylon, and stitched, with black pvd-coated metal parts. I have several from them; great quality.

Of all the things that people were buying at the time, that green bezel Sub was the one to get. Old case. New maxi dial. Green bezel insert. We won't see another oddball Rolex let's-just-do-this watch for a long time to come. I would have bought one myself, but the date complication increases the case thickness. I prefer the thinnest possible case in these already-big watches.
