For me its easy, the RG Novelty is absolutely stunning the best 44mm AP there is imho, while the Ti is just too monochrome and plain and lightweight by comparison.

I don't like the dial on the novelty, not the bezel and dial combo. It is plain and has nothing interesting going on IMO, while the dynamics of the Ti Schumi in different lighting and while moving on the wrist is incredible. It is not monochrome at all. I always feel like people who say such things about the Ti Schumi are either visually impaired or have never seen it in person and walked around with it on in different lighting.

For me there is no comparison between the Ti Schumi and RG Novelty. I think you get a lot less interesting design with the Novelty, despite the materials, and that is why it is cheaper relative to the Ti and RG Schumis...

Funny enough, I wear my Ti Schumi more than any other watch I own since acquiring it...

I think exactly this way of those who think the Nautilus is even remotely the same size as the 41mm RO.

I also think the RG Novelty is classical looking and fairly priced while the Ti is overpriced with its silly gimmicks on the dial to try to break up the monotony.

So you are intentionally dragging issues from another thread into this one because you are disgruntled? I proved my point in that thread thoroughly, and explained why one looks much larger because of the geometric area of the dial and bezel shapes. If you have a problem with it, you should address it there instead of chasing me into other threads.

You are certainly entitled not to like the Schumis, but why troll a thread specifically created for enabling people interested in this watch?

I guess it could be argued that all AP's are overpriced--but that is subjective.

For me, the Schumi TI is probably one of the best overall AP's I've ever owned (and I've owned 8). Well worth the price of admission due to the weight, looks, easy wear and comfort as well as overall wrist presence it gives.

Just my .02.

to be fair, it does come across as a little much to suggest those that dont like the watch must be 'visually impaired'...could be it just doesnt do it for them, doesnt mean they are deficient in some way....

post another pics of the RG version and let the watch speak for itself!

To be fair, I said either visually impaired or have never seen how dynamic it could be in different lighting conditions. Suggesting the Schumi Ti is monotone is ridiculous to anyone who has actually seen how diverse and dynamic the range of tones are on this piece. Coming into a Schumi enabling thread and saying the Ti Schumi is monotone also demonstrates a lack of tact, IMO.

I think its pretty clear why I have. On the other thread I had first hand knowledge of the two watches and yet you still disagreed with my point repeatedly from only having pics yourself, and yet in this thread now that you have first hand knowledge you dismiss others opinions and with personally derogatory words such as "visually impaired" and "trolling". I think this is disrespectful and I don't think language like this belongs on this forum.

Alright guys--green tea for everyone.

Let's get the focus of this thread back to Schumi talk and enabling.

So, you did come to this thread to intentionally troll me because of my posts in another thread. How mature...

Just watch your language and we wont have any problems. Opinions on watches are fine but don't get personal.

And for the record you trolled me - I answered a question by another member here, then you responded to my post by quoting me.

I probably won't get to wear it again until Friday.

I'll see what I can do.

Guys, sorry if I asked the wrong question in the wrong thread, didn't mean to create a fuss.
I found both pieces very beautiful and would just like to ask for opinions
AP lovers are all classy I believe. But At the end of the day, they are only watches, although they makes you feel much more than that when you got to wear them lol

NP, but you will definitely get a Schumi biased view for the most part in this thread. We love our Schumis......

Lovely, I wish I could find something similar (perhaps not LV though, a tad out of my budget I fear).

The quality and detailing is exquisite. To Boots NY might have something great for lower pricing. Not the same level of detailing, but solid quality stuff. Perhaps try Tods also.

Was so impress with the AP Schumacher

Hi Guys,

I also managed to try it on my wrist, i thought my Novelty's dial was amazing, the Schumacher's was breathtakingly good!!

Also i cannot believe how soft and comfortable the Schumacher's grey rubber strap compared to the Novelty's black rubber strap. Maybe different rubber compound...hmmm makes me want to buy the grey rubber strap for my novelty but dun think it will match well..

Cannot sleep for nights after trying that one...AHhhh i need an antidote..

Photos definitely does not do justice to the Schumacher, at least in my poor photo.

Pic of my novelty side by side the Schumacher:

Cheers
