Does anyone know what just the deployant costs? I have a few straps and swapping them back and forth on the one deployant I have is kind of annoying.

It cost me $368, but who knows. According to these other guys, my boutique over charged me for my rubber strap, now I'm wondering it that was the correct price also.

Appreciate the info, I'll check with my AD as well and post back here my findings. Given the discrepancy in what people have paid, I wanted to hear from people on here before I reached out.

Well I posted my receipt of my rubber strap when he said he and his buddy paid $500+
Something wasn't right there.
Good luck boys

I could post mine too. Its from a Cartier boutique and it will show $562 for the strap, and $368 for the extra deployant. No idea if you got a great deal, they made a mistake on yours, or if I was overcharged.

This type of lack of transparency in pricing from some brands is a bit frustrating in general. Why not just have a price list for parts listed on your website for individuals to order?

I can see why brands don't because they don't want people buying straps and not having it fit the watch.

I know Omega has prices listed for leather straps and NATOs but all of their items listed are universal fit. Anything that's integrated has to be purchased at an AD or OB.

That’s fair, but I suppose Cartier could at least have a catalog of strap options with prices on their site to be ordered through an AD. I believe they used to, perhaps they took it down due to supply constraints.

I think you're right about Cartier. I remember when the latest Santos first showed up on the website, you had the option to order a bunch of different straps with the watches when buying on line or swap out the stock strap for a different color. Now it's just one stock strap and you can't order extra straps when buying the watch online.

I was also quoted the same for the clasp by my AD, who knew the price off the top of his head. I've asked him to get back to me with rubber price.

I know when I bought my GO Seventies OEM rubber it was closer to $220 about 4 years ago. I think the VCO rubber is around $300? So it would seem surprising that the Santos Rubber would be over $500.

I actually tried it on along with blue dial (too dark) and decided to go with steel Santos.

So far we have $562, $307, and $400. Apparently Cartier doesn't even know their own prices.

Officially in the club! Love this watch, huge sleeper. Also want to thank Takuya for so painlessly making it happen! Truly one of the best!

Just adding one more data point to this thread, my AD quoted me at $307 for the rubber Santos strap.

New purchase today

Just picked mine up today. I was debating between the all black ADLC and the ADLC bezel on stainless bracelet version. The AD only had the all black one and I wound up going with this one instead. It was the classic dial and easier to read. The black one didn’t feel as bold as the pictures made it out to my eyes. Got a nice bag of goods with the purchase.

Good choice, I did the same thing. I thought the blue dial would be the one I was going to buy but the blue is more of a dark blue.
Too dark of a dial and not as easy to read.
I get a lot of compliments on the classic look of my Santos because of the white dial and black Roman numberals.

Good choice and wear it in good health!

Thank you! I was able to source a new OEM black ADLC rubber strap with clasp below retail from someone who decided to go with an alligator strap. Sporty and formal, can’t go wrong with options.
