I think that's dead right. The same is true for many used pieces at all price levels in Japan, there just seems to have been a higher standard of care for the watches and so finding good condition pieces is a little easier than elsewhere.

Re this piece, and a few others I have, they are super clean. Unfortunately prices seem to have moved a lot in the last 12-18 months. I've been in Japan three times in the last 18 months and I've seen a steady creep in prices (in JPY terms). Fingers crossed for a weaker JPY going forward!
