More curious if they actually made it 40mm vs the true proportion of the previous steel Daytonas of 38.5mm.

That in itself is what matters for size rather than what they label it as.

Need to wait one more generation until they scrap that metal ring. As a current 116500LN owner, the new slimmer indices look very nice, but that ring is BRUTAL.

Really like the metal ring on the Oysterflex models, really don't like it on the Steel / Platinum models

Are you sure?

My 6239 was symmetrical. Or if it wasn't it was so subtle as to be unnoticeable.

Zenith Daytona's with brushed lugs have less assymetry than the 116520 and 116500 references, do they not?

There's nothing subtle about the asymmetry in my picture earlier in this thread

Glad I picked this up the other day. Now that the lugs are symmetrical i might actually have wanted a SS Daytona otherwise

Case looks identical to the symmetrical pm cases

I dont know what it is about the new one, its just not quite as nice.

Keen to see the black dial wrist shot

Is the side of the case on the new one brushed or polished? Some photos here look brushed but the Rolex website looks polished
