Actually not sure if this link works anymore. If in US, I bought via Amazon Prime.

New explorer 36mm

AD offered me the 36 explorer today- went and had a look. Great watch but will stick to my 5 digit one; and the ugly 39mm one!

I have the new Explorer 36 and love it but I can see why you wouldn't feel the need to replace yours

On a side note, I know you've been through some very difficult experiences Steve and I hope things are getting better

Good decision to stick with your original 36 Steve.
I still enjoy my “ ugly” 39 too.
Hope you are well. Take care.

Yeah, this 214270 makes me nauseous every time I look at my wrist.

Dang that looks great on that strap! Another benefit to the 214270....20mm lugs! I have MANY straps, all 20mm. The 40mm with 21mm lugs and wonky 32xx movement is and was a deal breaker to me.

I know what you mean; I just added a 40mm Racing Speedmaster after having sold off my last Omega about five years ago. 40mm is the size I need. On WUS, I referred someone to this thread for information on wearing watches in very cold weather. FWIW, today marks 55th anniversary of the first time man set foot in the moon.
