I think the issue is availability not affordability… AP and watch media seem to go in hard on pushing content for the 200 piece releases etc. that hardly anybody will be able to get allocated regardless of price

Would the rose gold pink 34 mm be a reasonable ask to AD? Currently on the wait list for a 34 RO as a first time customer (man) and turned down a two tone (asked for SS white or ceramic black only)

I suspect out of those 3, the SS white would be easiest. But sometimes it helps to be first to ask for a new release - let us know what they say about changes for the pink dial, pink gold RO (which I hadn't actually noticed among the new releases until your post).

But I agree that for "normal" AP clients, the action from this drop in the $60k+ range is more exciting, starting from the smoked dial 37mm YG RO.
The new CEO in the interview in the other thread clearly said she wants to focus on complications even more compared to three handers. Not sure how much of a say she had in these models, given that she's only been on board for a couple of months now, but I think we'll see more of AP moving even more upmarket.

That said, the sand gold tourbillon is outstanding, that could be my exit watch.

New AP’s prediction 2024 thread!

That time only 43 is perfect for me! Love it. My rg 43 is my favorite watch to wear. This would be an incredible addition. Did I miss the price?
The John Mayer is maybe my favorite watch they’ve ever done. Wow
All the codes look great.
AP continues to deliver.
Best stuff in the game.

Look. I'm not mad. That's how it is. Just stating the facts. If everyone can get one I wouldn't want it.

I guess what I meant was the retail is already pretty high a lot of people can't swing it even given the chance to buy those pieces

I like some of what they released, but I really don’t get the 43mm ROO. A rubber bezel, color MISmatched date wheel, and a blob of a logo that looks like it was plopped on the dial as an afterthought.

The new black and rose gold ceramic Code Chrono is really attractive by the way.

Really strong release that sets them up well for the future. Big ticket items so will need to be thoughtful but I like the direction they’re going.

That prototype tourb chrono ROO is very cool.

Love the sandgold - it’s a nice modern take on precious metal without the crazy flash factor

I really dig the Sand Gold OW, WG Jumbo OW, and the Mayer QP. I'm just afraid to ask my SA the prices on these....

Will there be more releases throughout the week or will this be everything for the better part of this year?

I wish there were some more steel releases, or even platinum. These releases are mostly gold.

They dropped 20 watches today, give or take. I'd guess that's it for a while.

I don't mind a lot of $ for a watch, but I think competition is way too tough for them.

In that range Voutilainen, Romain Gauthier, etc.... all offer a better product for the money.

Agreed, that really threw me off. Come to think of it, wouldn’t a rubber bezel preserve very well, and certainly not scratch??
Didn’t see that coming, but still it’s a nice colorway.

I think smaller ladies still coming, maybe a remaster? or is the consensus they pushed those to fall and the OW/QP to 25 for the 150th?

Ouch! Pricing on the WG Jumbo OW is not as bad as I thought.

The pink dial looks much more shiny in real photos than in APs semi-renders. Needs to be seen in person.

I like this so so much. It is like the perfect 3 hander addition to the Smoke Blue / Black Blue Ceramic 43mm ROO.

The rubber bezel, means its good for daily wear and not expensive to replace
