Number two. I have a real weakness for the MOP dials. The ONLY negative is with the Arabic number dial, the lume available is only on the hour and minute hands.

To be honest, if you're worried about scratches, the Daytona is not a good choice and not because of the bracelet or PCL's, it's the bezel. There is NO WAY to avoid scratches other than keeping it in a safe for the rest of its life. Especially in gold, the bezel will scratch just from wiping it with a cloth. This usually happens when the bezel is dirty and has not been cleaned with soap and water first. You effectively rub the dirt into the gold. You can also get scratches just from normal shirt cuffs where the fabric rubs against it and lets not forget the damage your desk can do when typing...

If you swapped the bracelet because of scratches, you're in for a long and tiring ownership. Just wear it and enjoy it. Look after it by all means, and try to avoid hard knocks but do not try to avoid daily wear and tear.

As strange as it sounds, in a year or so, you'll have enough of those fine little scratches that it becomes harder to notice them. The sooner you forget about it, the sooner you will start really enjoying your watch.

Well said Dan, it's very true about the bezel. But the more you wear it the more you get used to it.
