Amazing work - Example of Mattedial
Amazing work putting this together. I have my Dad's matte dial and from reading the very detailed website, I believe this is a non-SERIF model. Does everyone concur?
Hard to tell because you see a slight SERIF in the photos, but the rest of the descriptions on the dial indicate non-SERIF. |

Thank you for this. I have been considering a vintage piece like a 1680 or a 16660 but my anxiety towards vintage keeps winning. Sites like this build a lot of confidence in a buying process.

But is it gospel? Have found a 5513 with what looks like a serif dial but it's dated 1977 which seems to be after the production run for serif dial? |
