UK is still the best market to buy from significantly. Good and bad for locals. Bad because our stock situation is probably the worst in the world. Not only is the UK disproportionately represented for special gem set pieces but many tourists and overseas buyers are swallowing up UK stock. Good because if you can get what you're after, there's no cheaper market. I don't blame overseas buyers from the allure of the Uk, especially with VAT off and the relatively straightforward process to do so (comparatively to some more suspect countries). Even considering travelex and the likes royally ripping off their customers.

Personally I'm all for levelling the prices world wide however with Brexit looming, the currency could go sideways at any point. I don't blame Rolex for playing the waiting game.

Fair enough. But I do remember when I was traveling through Europe, there was no prices when checking the website from that region.

Cheers up £500 before VAT, 4.76% increase

Will mean you can possibly get that little “extra” off existing stock as ADs will have some more margin. And used prices will fair better too if you’re selling.

£5750 I saw earlier for a smooth DJ 41 when a fluted DJII was £6100 just before it was discontinued. Nuts!

Indeed. Rolex website will update soon after the start of the month.

Typically, someone will check it at one minute past midnight, find the old prices, post here to say we're all idiots with duff information and then disappear.

Largely uniform. Typically one expects more desirable models to be rounded up, but I was surprised to see that the 214270 Explorer is going from £4,800 to only £5,000. I expected 5% (£240) to see it rounded up to £5,050.

Any specific models / bracelet / dial variants, please just ask here and I will look on the new price list as soon as I am able. To save people scrolling back, i copy again the new prices I posted previously:

I was in a dealership in Guildford last week and they informed me of a 5% price increase on 1 October. They were not open to any negotiation on the price of the all steel ladies datejust I was looking at. With the price increase in mind I bought it. The previous dealership I had visited a few days earlier stayed quiet (and the service wasn't so good).

I only compared LV sub prices (because I want one) but they're about $1000 aud cheaper here thank in the UK now. I know you guys have vat for tourists but we have a 10% gst that travelers get refunded

Australia is much cheaper now at least than the UK, probably less stock too unfortunately
