I was never a Rolex fan until I met Batman and hulk. The 43 is the size I always wished for when I had big Breitling‘s which I’ve all sold to pay for my newly acquired sub and GMT my question is simply this… Can I be confident that if I take the stickers off and of course don’t scratch it up, six months from now would I be able to get Close to retail plus tax if I wanted to sell? not looking for a major profit but I’m going to need a few weeks of wearing this out in the wild to know if I love it.

Take em off! You will love it! By the way even if you decide to sell, you will most probably still get MSRP by selling it, even with stickers off. Welcome to the club and it is a great addition to the LV and BLNR!

Could I ask about the plastic shields around the seikos. Is that something you have added yourself or did they come fitted ??

The Seikos have a Titanium monocoque case and a outer case (called shroud) which is ceramic. They come like this from Seiko

The models are SBDX014 and SBBN011

Thanks for the update. Think it’s cool in a totally utilitarian fashion.

You are right! To most people these Seiko (tunas) look ugly, but they are great real tool watches with no useless gimmicks

Hey guys, any 6.5" wrist shot with SD43? I would like to see if I should stay around waiting or moving on.

Thanks,

No pics on this computer but I have a flat ~6.3" wrist and it fits a lot better than a 42mm ROO or a 41mm Royal Oak 15400. Fits similarly to a 39mm Royal Oak 15300. I was surprised. Bought it 2 months ago and have worn it every day.
