And now I have to add the green dial 116718 for the Fab Five as the Fantastic Four is no longer.

Ken, let's make it interesting for the spirit of the thread. If you could only keep 3 of the 5, which would it be.

For me

Day and work watch: Explorer 214270 or Explorer II 16570

Dress-down and weekender: Explorer 214270 or Explorer II 16570

Dress watch: I'll stick with the Rolex brand. I can see myself eventually purchasing a white gold Daytona, reference 116519. However, for the time being I'll go with the Explorer 214270.

There isn't too much the humble 214270 can't handle. IMHO

I have yet to purchase any of these but I've narrowed down my list of 3 watches I'd see myself happy with. Number 1 is coming in a couple of months while 2&3 will follow withing a year or two.

1. TT DJII w/ ivory dial
2. GMTII LN
3. Omega Speedmaster 9300 or POC 9300

Number 1&2 would be the office or going out rotation and number 3 would be the sporty super casual option. PP is beautiful but out of my price range at this point in my life.

Reminds me of the "three perfect cars" conversations I've had.

1) GMT BLNR (for work)
2) Submariner No Date (knock around watch)
3) White gold Daytona (Dress)

For cars, it's:

1) BMW M6 Gran Coupe (Work)
2) 1966 Ford F100 short bed with air ride (knock around car)
3) Porsche 911 Carrera S (when it's time to go fast)

Everyday watch: SeaDweller 16600

Work watch: Audemars Piguet Royal Oak White Dial Chronograph

Dress Watch: Urban Jürgensen Reference 11C in Platinum or Rose Gold

Sadly, Urban Jürgensen is not well known, but their watches have better finishes than Patek, and arguably A. Lange.
